Salary: Up to $34 an hour

We are seeking experienced Forepersons and Helpers to join our dynamic Commercial Roofing team. This role involves overseeing and assisting with roofing projects on commercial sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction and roofing, with a variety of skills including blueprint reading, heavy lifting, and the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead roofing crews to complete commercial roofing projects safely and efficiently
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as metal panels, or insulation materials
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of work
• Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction with a focus on roofing or related trades such as carpentry or masonry
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for construction projects
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment used on construction sites
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over long periods
• Experience working on commercial roofing materials and products
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Valid experience or certification in roofing techniques preferred but not required
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards at all times
