Role Nurse Practitioner providing direct patient care within established protocols and standards, functioning within approved scope and credentials. Responsibilities Conduct accurate patient assessments, evaluations, and treatments for individuals aged six months to geriatrics. Interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs and labs, diagnose and manage chronic illnesses like hypertension, diabetes, and asthma. Promote disease prevention through risk assessment, counseling, and timely completion of Medicare wellness exams. Handle emergent medical situations, communicate professionally with patients and healthcare teams, and perform duties across multiple primary care locations as needed. Qualifications & Skills 2-4 years of clinical experience, preferably in Family Medicine. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in ordering and interpreting tests, excellent patient education, and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with electronic health records (EPIC) and managing high patient volumes. Credentials Valid, unrestricted NP or PA license, board certification in Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, BLS and ACLS certifications, and DEA registration if prescribing medications.
