Assistant Professor of Research Physiology and Neuroscience

Assistant Professor of Research Physiology and Neuroscience We are seeking a candidate to work on contributing to collaborative research at Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) Neuroscience Translational Research Division (NTRD) at USC in San Diego. This position will also lead an independent research lab focused on translational basic science studies for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. Responsibilities: Experimental planning and execution of projects. Collaborate closely with NTRD PIs, team members, and external collaborators. Provide mentorship to junior scientists and PhD candidates. Communicate research findings orally and in writing. Demonstrate technical and scientific leadership through a publication record. Qualifications: Track record of independent research in Alzheimer’s disease translational research. Experience in collaborative research groups and projects. Strong mentorship skills. Excellent scientific communication skills. Publication record in leading neuroscience journals. Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000–$100,000.
