Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in a PCU/IMCU, including patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, and encephalopathy.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate to the multidisciplinary team as needed; implement, document, and revise care plans.
- Administer medications and therapies appropriate to the unit, including management of anticoagulation with heparin drips per protocol; monitor for adverse effects.
- Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, perform frequent assessments, and coordinate with physicians, therapies, and case management to support timely discharge planning.
- Contribute to patient safety and quality of care: follow infection control practices, accurate charting, and adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate and support transitions of care through discharge planning.

Requirements
- 2 years of RN experience in PCU/IMCU or a closely related critical care setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a 1:4 patient ratio in a hospital setting
- Eligible to work in the United States; compliant with travel assignment requirements
