Powerplant Engineer (Aircraft Propulsion Systems & Integration)

Location Cincinnati, OH Responsibilities Strong experience in aircraft powerplant / propulsion systems engineering Knowledge of engine installation, nacelle systems, and propulsion integration Familiar with engine systems (fuel, oil, bleed air, FADEC interfaces) Experience in system integration, design, and certification processes Knowledge of FAA/EASA Part 25 certification requirements for propulsion systems Ability to analyze engine performance, interfaces, and installation constraints Experience in ground and flight test support for propulsion systems. Support design, development, and integration of aircraft powerplant systems Define and manage propulsion system requirements, architecture, and interfaces Coordinate with engine OEMs and suppliers for system development and integration Support engine installation design, nacelle integration, and system routing Participate in ground and flight testing of propulsion systems Analyse and resolve system integration and performance issues Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of propulsion-related issues Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA certification requirements (Part 25) Review and validate test procedures, qualification reports, and technical documentation Collaborate with Fuel Systems, Structures, Systems Installation, and Flight Test teams Prepare technical reports, certification documents, and engineering analyses. BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
