General Warehouse Associate – Weekend Shift Forklift Driver (Friday – Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Location: TJMaxx Distribution Center, San Antonio – 11650 FM1937, USA. Pay: $22.00 per hour. Additional pay may be earned based on production level. Position Summary The Bulk/Forklift Department supports the DC by using power industrial trucks (PIT) to move merchandise to and from various departments. Minimum of 3 years forklift experience and an eye exam are required. Bulk/Forklift drivers will be certified on both RC and TSP. All PIT training is conducted on site by a certified trainer. Although all General Warehouse Associates are assigned to a specific department and supervisor, they may work in another area if needed. Job Responsibilities Count, select, and sort items such as totes, boxes, merchandise, or other items as assigned. Match receipts against purchase orders. Ticket merchandise or other items with gum labels, a ticketing gun, or pin tickets. Pack or unpack merchandise. Seal boxes for shipping when packing is completed. Perform manual material handling of items up to 10 lbs constantly, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 60 lbs occasionally. Requirements Minimum 3 years of forklift experience. Valid eye exam.
