Travel RN-PACU jobs in New Hyde Park, NY let you provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients at the facility, supporting a warm and family-centered environment designed for children. You will monitor and assess patients recovering from surgery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and document in electronic medical record systems. To qualify, you need a current New York RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and recent post-anesthesia care unit experience. Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are required. Experience with electronic medical record systems is recommended. Recommended skills include critical thinking, patient assessment, medication administration, strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability to a fast-paced pediatric setting.
