About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Credit Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing leadership and support for all credit department operations, with a primary focus on overseeing the bank's loan risk management process to ensure quality control and minimize losses. This role requires the maintenance of loan policy and procedures in compliance with underwriting best practices, laws, and regulations, as well as staying abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices. The Chief Credit Officer will also be responsible for developing and overseeing the bank's internal credit training program, managing the credit team, and ensuring proper loan documentation and covenant compliance. Applicants for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of ten years' of related work experience in financial/credit analysis and lending. A background in banking and residency in the State of Arkansas is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a strong management background, heavy experience in C&I lending, and preferably, experience in loan workout and SBA. The role demands the ability to create and analyze credit presentations, business correspondence, and loan policies, as well as the capacity to interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. The Chief Credit Officer will also be involved in various other duties as assigned, and must be committed to the ongoing development and training of the credit team.
