Position Summary:

The Oncology and Infusion scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient appointments for oncology consultations, treatments, and infusion therapies. This role ensures efficient clinic operations, supports clinical staff, and provides compassionate service to patients navigating complex treatments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of medical scheduling or healthcare administrative experience, preferably in oncology or infusion services
• Familiarity with medical terminology, oncology treatments, and infusion procedures preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR systems and scheduling software preferred
• Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes
