Senior Surgical Tech - Open Heart Surgery (Part Time/AM)

Responsibilities The Open Heart Surgery unit at GW Hospital is a highly specialized environment focused on cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve repairs and replacements, and other complex heart operations. This unit features advanced technology and a collaborative team of surgeons, nurses, and surgical technologists committed to delivering high‑quality, life‑saving care. As a Senior Surgical Tech in the Open Heart Surgery unit, you will play a vital role on the surgical team, assisting with complex cardiac procedures. You will ensure a sterile field, manage specialized instruments, and support the surgical team before, during, and after operations. Your experience and leadership will contribute to safe, efficient, and high‑quality surgical outcomes in a high‑acuity setting.
