About the Position

Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities including 1 weeknight per week (Monday-Thursday), 1 weekend every 6-8 weeks, and holidays as operationally needed

• Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services and Pharmacy
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Wisconsin or Compact State)
• BLS certification (AHA only) required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience in specialty within the last 3 years
• Required experience: Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, pediatric trauma, and kidney transplant
• Level I and Level II Trauma experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass specialty-specific competency testing with strict passing criteria (telemetry exam with 80% passing score; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• Willingness to float as needed
