Principal Quality Engineer (Onsite)

What You Will Do Provide technical support to internal and external customers regarding Escapes, Quality Management System Procedures, regulations and compliance. Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and customer requirements. Dispose of nonconforming material in a timely manner as a Material Review Board (MRB) member. Drive Level 1 Mistake Proofing in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) plans for quality issues. Recommend improvements to the QMS based on internal and external audit results. Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities. Engage with Engineering and Operations in PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, and Control Plan reviews to identify risks and mitigation actions. Mentor other quality engineers on improved inspection methods. Analyze and present site quality data to upper management and guide improvement projects. Qualifications University degree or advanced degree related to the field. At least 8 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with an engineering background in aerospace. Background in RCCA activity. U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of FAA regulations. Experience as an AS9100 internal auditor. Experience with SAP. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
