Position Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift – 13‑week contract position. Schedule: Night shift – 3×12 hour shifts. Responsibilities Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Identify teaching needs and goals related to the diagnosis of each patient. Provide patient information and status in a timely manner for team conferences. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely. Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, focusing on education based on health care needs. Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care and safety. Provide direction and training to ancillary nursing personnel. Assure personal and environmental safety in accordance with policies and procedures. Contribute positively to the unit's functioning and participate in team‑building activities. Maintain communication regarding service needs with management and senior nursing staff. Assume charge responsibility as requested. Seek professional growth through continuing education and self‑study. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience highly desired. #J-18808-Ljbffr
