Prosperous Health Network Our behavioral health network currently includes: Prosperous Health Lake Hughes – 104‑bed inpatient behavioral health & substance use disorder treatment campus Prosperous Health San Juan Capistrano – Outpatient behavioral health program Prosperous Health Rancho Palos Verdes – Outpatient behavioral health program Prosperous Health Woodland Hills – Outpatient behavioral health program Prosperous Health Virtual Care – Statewide telehealth behavioral health program Position Summary The Psychiatric Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care, medication administration, client assessments, and ongoing clinical support for individuals receiving treatment in our IOP and PHP programs. Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, case managers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team, the Psychiatric Nurse helps ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care while promoting recovery and overall wellness. Salary Range: $85,000–$130,000 annually (DOE) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct nursing assessments and monitor clients' physical and mental health status Administer and monitor prescribed medications in accordance with physician and nurse practitioner orders Observe, assess, and document client responses to medications and treatment interventions Provide medication education and health education to clients and families Monitor for medication side effects, withdrawal symptoms, and changes in mental status Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, case managers, and other treatment team members Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary team meetings Assist with crisis intervention and emergency response when needed Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Coordinate care with outside medical providers as appropriate Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies Promote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery‑oriented treatment environment Qualifications Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted Minimum of one year of psychiatric, behavioral health, substance use disorder, or related nursing experience preferred Experience in IOP, PHP, outpatient behavioral health, or inpatient psychiatric settings preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred Knowledge of psychiatric medications, behavioral health treatment, and crisis intervention preferred Benefits Prosperous Health offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee well‑being and professional growth, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays Professional Development Opportunities Supportive and Collaborative Work Environment Why Join Prosperous Health?
