Physicians Rehab Solution is growing and hiring an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist for an outpatient orthopedics position at Boston Orthopaedic and Spine in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Full-time is preferred, and part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered.

About the Role

You will treat patients in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting with a caseload focused on post-operative and conservative hand, shoulder, and upper quadrant injuries and diagnoses. You will work alongside board-certified, fellowship-trained specialists and comprehensive care teams that include experienced physician assistants and specialized orthotists. Boston Orthopaedic and Spine serves a distinguished patient base that includes professional and collegiate athletes, weekend warriors, and older adults, with institutional affiliations that include the Boston Celtics, Harvard Medical School, and MIT. Full-time OTs can expect to treat an average of 11 patients per day.

Schedule

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Flexible scheduling is available based on the needs of the clinician hired, with autonomy to structure a schedule that supports work-life balance.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary for a full-time position is in the range of $75,000 per year, with increases based on experience and qualifications. Bonus opportunities are also available. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, life insurance, and continuing education support.

Qualifications

Candidates must be eligible for Massachusetts state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Prior outpatient orthopedic experience working with hand, shoulder, and upper quadrant injuries and diagnoses is required. Certified Hand Therapist designation is preferred but not required. Full-time availability of 40 hours per week is preferred, and part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
