Sr. Manager, Accounting & Reporting

As a Senior Manager, HR Accounting & Reporting, you will lead North America HR accounting operations, overseeing payroll accruals, share‑based compensation, retirement and post‑retirement benefits, and incentive programs. This leadership role drives financial reporting accuracy, compliance, internal controls, month‑end close, account reconciliations, and process improvements while partnering with other Finance teams, HR, auditors, and executive stakeholders. You will lead and guide a team, implementing departmental plans, ensuring reporting integrity and compliance, and driving team success onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. Responsibilities Lead North America HR Accounting activities, including payroll accruals, share‑based compensation, pensions, post‑retirement benefits, annual incentives, and global mobility programs. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, internal accounting policies, and financial control standards. Oversee month‑end close activities, including journal entry reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis. Lead the review and approval of significant accruals and estimates related to payroll, bonus and incentive programs, retirement plans, stock compensation, and other employee benefits. Review and assess the accounting impact of changes to employee benefit plans, compensation programs and relevant accounting standards. Drive the execution and effectiveness of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness across HR‑related accounting processes. Partner with cross‑functional teams including HR Operations Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Executive Compensation, Employee Relations, External Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, FP&A, Internal Audit, and External Auditors to resolve complex HR accounting matters and support business objectives. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance efficiency, scalability and reporting accuracy. Monitor and deliver against established service level agreements and key performance indicators while maintaining a strong customer‑focused mindset. Provide leadership, coaching and development for a high‑performing accounting team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous learning. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. (High school +15 years; Associate +11 years; M.S. +4 years; Ph.D. +3 years). 7years of relevant experience. 5years of demonstrated leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, financial modeling, pivot tables and management of large datasets. Experience with SAP and related financial or HR systems for reporting, reconciliation, workflow management and process optimization. Knowledge of share‑based compensation accounting, including stock compensation, equity awards, incentive plans and related financial reporting requirements. CPA experience preferred. Understanding and communication in English (read, write, understand). Demonstrated adaptability and continuous improvement mindset with focus on process enhancement, automation and operational excellence. Experience with AI‑enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot and automation solutions to improve processes, increase efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
