About the Position

Job Title

Multimodality Technologist – CT & Radiography (Dual Location)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Friday through Sunday with rotating on-call responsibilities | Onsite (Dual Location)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiographic examinations of designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment across two facility locations, including a main campus and a freestanding emergency department
• Obtain patient history, explain routine imaging procedures, and address patient concerns prior to and during exams
• Participate in an on-call rotation at the freestanding ER location, which may include weekend coverage if shifts are unfilled
• Utilize electronic health record charting system (Epic) for documentation and patient information management
• Adhere to all radiation safety standards and wear a required radiation monitoring badge at all times while on duty

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist with Computed Tomography experience
• Successful completion of an AMA-approved school of radiological technology
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
• Active South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) licensure in Radiography (R) and CT
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must provide own radiation monitoring badge — badge is not supplied by the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital or freestanding emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Comfort working independently as the sole multimodality technologist during a 12-hour shift
