Senior Technical Product Manager, Data Platforms

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• We require an undergraduate degree or an equivalent mix of training and experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• We need at least eight years of related business experience.
• We prefer three years of experience leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational initiatives.
• We value demonstrated end-to-end product ownership across the full product lifecycle, including innovation, delivery, go-to-market, and evolution in a fast-moving environment.
• We look for the ability to lead strategic conversations on data architecture and engineering, including data modeling, metadata management, data quality, integration, storage, compute, and security.
• We value familiarity with data platforms and technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Confluent, and Flink.
• We are not offering visa sponsorship for this position.

• We own the full product lifecycle for our data platforms, from incubation through retirement, aligned to our enterprise data strategy and target-state architecture.
• We monitor market trends and conduct user research to uncover opportunities that shape our data platform products and features.
• We collaborate across teams with data engineers, architects, analysts, and data scientists to define products that address critical data and business needs.
• We encourage experimentation through MVPs, rapid prototyping, and iterative delivery, while staying focused on execution and learning.
• We translate user and market insights into clear, prioritized product features.
• We develop and maintain a transparent roadmap and backlog, working with architecture and engineering leaders to prioritize capabilities by business value and technical feasibility.
• We partner with data architecture and engineering teams to define the right features and often lead technical discussions around platform capabilities and technologies.
• We conduct usability testing and experimentation to confirm that platform features meet user expectations.
• We manage product launches and coordinate with project managers to support timely, on-budget releases.
• We define, track, and analyze product metrics to improve performance, guide roadmap decisions, and measure success.
• We partner with finance and engineering leadership to allocate budgets across the product portfolio.
• We use data-driven frameworks to manage OKRs, P&L, and ROI for core platform capabilities and data services.
• We develop and execute go-to-market strategies with enablement, communications, and other support teams.
• We create onboarding, training, and product communication materials to drive adoption of new products and features.
• We help build a high-performing product culture within the data platform organization and foster innovation and bold thinking.
• We mentor junior product managers and support the growth of product management capability within EDA&E.
