Duties

• Greet customers promptly and enthusiastically, providing expert advice on automotive parts and accessories
• Assist customers in locating parts using inventory management systems and knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures
• Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods with professionalism
• Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock checks, and updating CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) records
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely order fulfillment and support automotive repair and service operations
• Maintain clear communication with customers via phone etiquette, offering product recommendations and answering inquiries in multiple languages if applicable
• Support marketing efforts by promoting special deals or new product arrivals to enhance retail sales

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently using inventory management software
• Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures to assist with technical questions
• Proven negotiation skills to upsell parts and accessories while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Experience with retail math for accurate pricing, discounts, and profit calculations
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting purposes
• Understanding of dealership experience or automotive repair industry standards is a plus
• Strong phone etiquette skills for engaging with customers over the phone professionally
