Custom Millwork Shop Manager

divh2Millwork Shop Manager/h2p84 Lumber is seeking an experienced Millwork Shop Manager to oversee daily operations within our custom millwork shop in Eighty Four, PA. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong woodworking, custom fabrication, and CAD experience who can manage both production and project execution for high-quality custom millwork projects./ppThe Millwork Shop Manager will supervise shop operations, support production staff, work directly with customers on custom millwork solutions, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately./ppResponsibilities include:/pulliOversee daily operations of the custom millwork shop and supervise production employees/liliOperate and support the use of woodworking equipment including moulder machines, band saws, and planers/liliReview and interpret CAD drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications/liliAssist with custom millwork design, trim packages, mantels, and specialty woodwork projects/liliWork directly with customers, contractors, and internal teams to develop project scopes and solutions/liliCreate material takeoffs, estimates, and project timelines/liliMaintain inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production/liliEnsure quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications/liliPromote a safe and organized work environment/li/ulpQualifications include:/pulliPrevious experience in custom millwork, woodworking, cabinet shop, or manufacturing environments/liliExperience operating woodworking machinery including moulders, band saws, and planers/liliCAD experience required/liliStrong understanding of custom trim packages, mantels, and architectural millwork/liliAbility to read blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications/liliLeadership or supervisory experience preferred/liliStrong organizational and communication skills/liliAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment/liliEstimating and takeoff experience preferred/li/ul/div
