Material Handler 2nd ShiftThis position is responsible for moving raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished tea products throughout the manufacturing facility and warehouse. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of forklift experience, ensures materials are staged on time for production lines, operates material handling equipment safely, and maintains accurate inventory records. (temporary through March 2027)What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Material Handler 2nd Shift Details:Temporary position$ 20.50 to $ 21.50 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:15pm)Production Support & Staging: Retrieve, stage, and deliver raw ingredients (herbs, tea leaves, flavorings) and packaging supplies (boxes, cartons, tea bag materials) to production and tea-blending lines to prevent downtime.Loading & Unloading: Safely unload incoming shipments of raw goods and materials from freight trailers; load finished goods onto outgoing transport trucks.Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, pallet jacks, and hand trucksInventory Control & Scanning: Use hand-held RF scanners to track inventory movements, complete material transfers in the warehouse management system (WMS), and assist with periodic cycle counts.Material Handler 2nd Shift Qualifications:Forklift Certification: Active forklift certification or previous experience with sit-down/stand-up forklifts and powered pallet jacks.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs consistently; capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8–12 hour shift.Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and experience operating RF inventory scanners; familiarity with WMS or SAP is a plus.Certifications/Compliance: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.Must be available to work through March.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
