**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience required - Cath lab experience required - Community hospital experience required - First-timers accepted with cath lab experience - Pending license not accepted - Experience with charting system Meditech preferred - Skills required: Circulate, conscious sedation, telemetry, previous cath lab experience - Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH - Copy of certifications must be obtained before starting (pending certs will be accepted) **Preferred and Special Requirements:** - Candidate must be willing to obtain a valid state license before starting if not already licensed - The travelers need to complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing for Witham (Preferred) - Candidates may float to inpatient units or affiliate hospital nearby, depending on volume/census **Specialized Skills:** - End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives - Assist with Central Line Insertion/management*, Blood Product Administration* - Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardioversion - Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab* - Emergency Medications, External Compression Devices, Hypothermia protocol, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion* - Infection Prevention, Insertion/Programming of AICDs*, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Isolation Precautions/PPE - Laser-assisted procedure, Left heart catheterization, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Pacemaker Insertion* - Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Pre Post Procedure - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Angiography*, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring - Radiation and Laser Safety, Reversal agents, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, Right heart catheterization - Scrub Procedures*, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Starting and maintaining IVs, Thrombolytics - Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Vascular Closure Systems, Ventilator Management **Leadership Experience:** - Previous charge experience not mentioned **Additional Information:** - COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) - Navy scrubs are provided - No after-hours or weekend call required - Locals accepted with a $15 decrease in pay for candidates located within 50 miles of the facility
