Job Details Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown / PCU / Telemetry / Mixed Acuity Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Location: Columbus, Ohio Start Date: October 19, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Shift Duration: 12 hours Hours Per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Float Requirement: Float within the organization as needed Call Requirement: May be required Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission BLS and ACLS required Epic charting experience required Experience caring for adult cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or mixed-acuity patients preferred Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Ability to provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor Flexibility to complete urgent credentialing and fingerprinting requirements Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and post-surgical diagnoses Monitor telemetry and respond quickly to changes in cardiac rhythm or patient condition Administer medications and manage complex IV therapies, including cardiac drips and insulin protocols as appropriate Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, arterial lines, PICC/central lines, and wound care Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other clinical support services Float to other units within the organization when needed Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols Participate in a team-oriented environment focused on quality patient outcomes and responsive care Apply now to join a collaborative healthcare team and advance your career in travel nursing in Columbus, Ohio.
