REMOTE AWS Data Lake Architect

Job Title Review and make changes and finalize the design of the AWS Student Data Warehouse and Data Lake. Work with Cloud Infrastructure team and Database team on the deployment of the AWS accounts, environments and server instances. Deploy all data warehouse tools/instances – see Redshift, Glue etc. Configure data warehouse, and data lake tools to import data into the data lake and to import data from the data lake into the data warehouse. Complete verification of data in the data warehouse with the on-prem data warehouse – all data migrated successfully. Experience Skillset Required Required Skills 5+ years of experience as a data warehouse architect Experience designing and implementing an AWS data lake and Redshift data warehouse Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced SQL programming skills Advanced AWS skills in S3, Lake Formation, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Data Pipeline and EC2 Experience developing data pipelines in AWS 5+ years of experience as a data engineer and/or data integration developer Experience migrating from an on-prem data warehouse to AWS cloud data lake and Redshift environment Advanced Python development Desired Skills Experience migrating Informatica PowerCenter mappings to Informatica IDMC Infrastructure as code using Terraform Kafka data streams Experience with AWS RDS administration, specifically SQL Server Experience establishing governance processes, development standards and access controls within the AWS data lake environment.
