This position is ideal for dedicated Special Education Teachers motivated to make a difference for students with life skills, autism, or behavioral needs. Multiple roles are available across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with a few part-time positions also open, allowing flexibility to match your expertise and availability.
Qualified educators will support students in dedicated classrooms, implementing individualized education plans in partnership with school teams and families. You will be pivotal in fostering academic and social-emotional growth, utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies and maintaining a positive, inclusive environment tailored to students' unique strengths and needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Kansas teaching license in special education, appropriate for the assigned grade level, required at the time of offer
- Experience working with life skills, autism, or behavioral needs strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt instruction and materials for diverse learners
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Role Highlights:
