Exciting Opportunity for a Dynamic Physical Therapist! Job Description:
- Shift:
- 9H Days, Monday - Friday, 0800-1730
- One weekend per month - Department:
- PT - HCJ - Patient Load:
- Treat 10-12 patients per day - Certification Requirements:
- BLS
- Utah license required
- Other certifications: None necessary for all PTs - Common Diagnoses / Patient Types:
- Post-operative
- Orthopedic / Total Joint
- Stroke
- Cardiovascular
- Deconditioning - Care Settings:
- Acute Inpatient
- Potential acute rehab coverage (not mandatory) - Areas of Coverage:
- Med Surg
- Telemetry
- ICU
- Community Hospital - Experience / Must-Have Skills:
- Previous acute care experience highly preferred
- Experience in an inpatient rehab setting is a plus - Team Structure:
- PT Manager/Supervisor: Tyler Johnson
- Rehab Aides: PTAs support acute and rehab needs - Scheduling:
- 5 days a week (Tues-Sat preferred)
- Possible consideration for 4x10 day schedule - Weekend Requirements:
- 2 weekends for an 8-week contract - Orientation:
- Onsite training at 2 facilities
- Likely one day for each facility (may need more time) - Cancellation Policy:
- Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
- 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks - Charting System:
- EPIC - Guaranteed Hours:
- 40 hours per week - Contract Duration:
