Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 based on experience. Pay Structure: Compensation based on hourly rates, miles driven, stops made, and cases delivered. Home Time: Daily home time with varying route schedules; availability for overnight loads is required. Team Driving: Opportunities for team-based driving. Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report detailing the vehicle's condition. Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries. Operate the tractor-trailer to the designated location, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills. Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate: Must be at least 21 years old. Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer. Meet our organization’s MVR and risk rating standards. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions and safety protocols.
