Cloud-Native Backend Developer

Duration: 6+ months Location: Philadelphia, PA | Columbus, OH | Nashville, TN | Dallas, TX | Tampa, FL

Design, build, and enhance cloud-native backend services that power scalable applications. Develop secure, high-performance APIs and microservices using Python while leveraging AWS Lambda and modern database technologies. Contribute to automated testing and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices to ensure reliable software delivery.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on Python application development building enterprise-grade backend services.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Liquibase, along with automated testing, CI/CD practices, and building cloud-native backend services on AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs supporting distributed microservices.
• Develop serverless workloads using AWS Lambda.
• Design and integrate data models with Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Implement automated testing and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-quality software.
