Job Title: Delivery Driver (Class C, 26-Foot Box Truck)
Job Description

This role delivers products locally using a Class C 26-foot box truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing courteous customer service. You operate within a defined schedule, follow assigned routes, and represent the company professionally on the road and at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class C 26-foot box truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Complete local deliveries according to the schedule provided by the shipping department.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products to and from customer locations with care and accuracy.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and adjust as needed to account for traffic, road conditions, and customer needs.
• Verify delivery information, including addresses, delivery notes, and any special instructions.
• Provide professional, friendly, and responsive customer service at each delivery stop.
• Communicate effectively with the shipping department and other internal teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and any related delivery equipment.
• Complete required delivery documentation and records accurately and on time.

• Experience driving a Class C vehicle, including a 26-foot box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, awareness, and defensive driving.
• Ability to operate, maneuver, and park a 26-foot box truck in various environments.
• Customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal staff.
• Ability to follow delivery schedules, routes, and written or verbal instructions accurately.
• Capability to handle physical aspects of the role, including loading and unloading products as needed.
• Reliability and punctuality to meet scheduled delivery windows.
• Basic recordkeeping skills to complete delivery logs and related documentation.

• Previous experience as a delivery driver, truck driver, or box truck driver.
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Comfort using basic navigation tools or route guidance systems.
• Experience working in a shipping, logistics, or distribution environment.

Work Environment

This is a local, road-based role where you spend most of your day driving and delivering within the surrounding area. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with local delivery hours typically between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., while overall operations run between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. You primarily operate a Class C 26-foot box truck, working closely with the shipping department for route planning and schedules. The environment suits someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and interacting with customers throughout the day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pico Rivera, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
