The ideal Concierge is an individual who has a passion for providing an exceptional experience to guests.The Concierge Team will serve as experts and the primary resource for guests seeking information about the property and surrounding attractions.Must have superior customer service skills in a fast-paced environment, as well as be able to stay focused on goals during downtime. Professional appearance and demeanor is a must.Estimated total compensation for this position: $20/hourSchedule: 40 hours per week9:45 AM to 6:15 PM10:15 AM to 7:15 PMJob RequirementsExcellent communication skills including verbal and writtenExcellent problem solving skillsIs comfortable approaching guestsKnowledgeable on Microsoft Office, Google Docs, digital technologyAbility to complete multiple tasks while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanorAbility to listen and react quickly to guests' and retailers' requests in a genuine mannerAbility to prioritize tasks under pressureAbility to work with varied personalities and temperamentsSelf-motivated and action-oriented team playerTakes pride and ownership in the position and property Ability to stand for extended periods of time, unless physician-recommended accommodation has been granted2+ years previous experience in hospitality, customer service or high-end retailJob DutiesUpholds helpful, friendly, and professional service standard at all timesDirects guests efficiently to retailers, dining, lodging and attractionsEffectively pairs services to guests' needsUtilizes an "above and beyond" approach to assisting guestsSupports all property programs and initiatives enthusiasticallyAssists with keeping Guest Services Desk stocked with information including local maps, brochures and event literatureBuilds and maintains relationships through networking with retailersMeets or exceeds given goals for gift card salesTakes a proactive approach to understand trends, citywide events and hot spots to easilyThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
