Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store - Retail Sales

Job Overview Mobile Associates, Store‑in‑Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a high‑traffic environment, and build and deepen relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates excel at identifying customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Job Responsibilities Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment using digital tools, effective communication, and education to showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions. Consistently leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding. Identify customer needs and employ solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services, recommending wireless solutions and onboarding aids that help customers self‑serve and use the T‑Mobile app. Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products and processes, and knowledge of systems and reference resources. Review personal results, current promotions and Hub updates to remain customer‑ready. Continuously learn and improve skills to provide the best possible experience for customers. Partner with nearby store locations to properly onboard customers. Perform skills practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, opening and closing procedures. Carry keys to kiosk cabinets, lock/secure kiosk and assets, and report lost keys or assets to manager. Be customer‑obsessed: passionate, friendly, engaging. Build rapport, trust, and loyalty with every interaction. Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity. Follow up with customers, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and build relationships with new and existing customers. Perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED (Required). At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Required). At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States (Required). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Customer satisfaction and advocacy; passion for connecting with customers. Ability to balance customer experience and performance goals. Team building; willingness to learn and share best practices with peers and store leaders. Retail sales drive and confidence in a fast‑paced sales environment. Travel No travel required. Safety and Regulatory Position is not DOT regulated or safety sensitive. Compensation and Benefits Hourly base pay: $18.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Upon completion, promotion to Mobile Expert role with an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year (actual incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status). All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
