Clinical Program Therapist Your experience matters. About the Role Twin County Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, invites you to join our team as a Clinical Program Therapist. You will play a vital role in supporting patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues, contributing to our mission of making communities healthier. Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies—including group, individual, and family therapy—to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, educating patients about psychological, emotional, and substance abuse problems. Participate actively in treatment planning and discharge, transition, and after‑care planning processes. Offer family counseling sessions to involve family members and support groups. Communicate proactively with clients, families, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team members (physicians, nurses, utilization review staff). Complete necessary paperwork for clients promptly, accurately, and in accordance with hospital standards. Demonstrate crisis intervention and de‑escalation skills, assisting team members during crisis situations to ensure patient safety. Conduct accurate assessments of patients using clinical skills and support the care coordination department as requested. Uphold confidentiality, complete releases appropriately, and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Maintain knowledge of clinical regulations, including TJC, Medicaid, and applicable state and federal laws. Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients. Current, unencumbered clinical license per state of practice guidelines. CPR and CPI certification within 30 days of employment. Ability to work flexible hours if required.
