Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, providing effective solutions and minimizing downtime. Collaborate with the hotel management team to forecast maintenance needs and plan budget accordingly. Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and update logs as required. Assist in managing contractors and outside vendors for specialized repairs and projects. Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and report any deficits or damages. Qualifications Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably within the hotel industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex maintenance issues efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Basic computer skills for maintenance management software and reports. Preferred Skills Certification in HVAC, electrical work or a related field is a plus.
