Cleanroom Production Operator

Create and assemble complex plastic tube products utilizing techniques to fuse, cut, form, bend, and shape plastic (primarily PFA) tubing to meet precise design specifications. Use hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment to form PFA tubes. Read and interpret drawings/prints and work orders to carry out the design specifications for each product. Work in a team environment to enhance techniques and improve repeatability.

Responsibilities

• Create and assemble complex plastic tube products using various techniques.
• Use hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment for tube formation.
• Read and interpret drawings/prints and work orders to execute design specifications.
• Collaborate with the area lead to prioritize workload and address shortages or problems.
• Enhance techniques and improve repeatability in a team environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in tube bending, mechanical assembly, and use of measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, and instructions.
• Proficiency using rulers, calipers, protractors, and various other measuring tools.
• Capability to communicate effectively with coworkers, area lead, and management.
• Self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly within a cleanroom environment.
• The ability to work in a cleanroom and gown up when necessary.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment, though the fabricator role primarily operates outside the cleanroom. Be prepared to gown up and work inside the cleanroom when required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
