What You’ll Do Conducting vegetation inspections and assessments along utility rights-of-way Identifying tree and brush management needs and recommending treatment plans Using GIS mapping and mobile technology to collect and document field data Evaluating terrain, habitat, and environmental conditions in project areas Collaborating with planners, project managers, and field crews to implement vegetation solutions Helping utilities maintain compliance, reliability, and public safety What We’re Looking For Required Passion for working outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions Ability to read and interpret GIS maps and spatial data Strong communication and teamwork skills Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using mobile technology Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle and travel within the service area Knowledge of or ability to learn local tree species identification and growth patterns Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or related field Utility vegetation management or right-of-way experience ISA Certified Arborist® Leadership experience and a desire for career advancement are strongly encouraged.
