About the Role
At Drax, we're committed to delivering a sustainable energy future. We're looking for an Inventory Specialist to support inventory management and procurement activities, ensuring critical spare parts and supplies are available to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Manage equipment parts inventory across warehouse and plant locations.
- Maintain inventory records, item setup, pricing, and reorder points within the ERP system.
- Review plant purchase requirements and issue purchase orders.
- Expedite critical spare parts to support operational needs.
- Monitor inventory levels, investigate variances, and conduct regular inventory reviews.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Support bidding processes, purchasing procedures, and contract management activities.
- Prepare reports on inventory performance, aging inventory, and procurement metrics.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3–7 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory control, and purchasing processes.
- Ability to travel periodically to support inventory reviews at other locations.
