Job Location CRANFORD, NJ 07016 Salary $57,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year Work Hours 9:00 – 3:30 Monday – Friday or as assigned Qualifications NJ License as Occupational Therapy Assistant Experience in providing occupational therapy to persons with developmental disabilities preferred Physical Demands Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and assist in a two-person lift of a child and/or adult Must be able to do frequent bending, kneeling and sitting Must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time Overall Description Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, provide occupational therapy as per Individualized Educational Program. Function as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide quality educational and therapeutic services to students. Responsibilities Maintain and safeguard each family/student’s right to privacy, respect and confidentiality Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, implement occupational therapy goals and objectives as written in the IEP Assist Occupational Therapist with assessments for all assigned students Design and construct adaptive equipment Maintain accurate daily notes, quarterly progress reports, annual reviews and discharge summaries Assist in the orientation of new employees Provide updates and reports as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
