RN Nurse Manager - Clinical Education

Description RN Nurse Manager of our Clinical Education department at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is full‑time and will oversee our clinical programs and 8‑10 Clinical Educators. Responsibilities Directs the education program for the enhancement of practice, education, administration, research, and theory development, built on the varied education and experience of nursing staff. Collaborates with the regional and divisional nursing education team to establish goals for regional and divisional education programs and participates in shaping the vision and strategic plan for the ministry. Sets nursing practice standards for the continued advancement of nursing. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate continuity of patient care across the continuum. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school. Master’s Degree in Nursing or Education. California Registered Nurse license (to be obtained upon hire). At least 6 years of related work experience in Clinical Education. At least 4 years of leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with leading programs and project management.
