AI Engineer

This role is designed as a broad and accessible entry point into our AI team and is especially suited for strong builders, ambitious MSc graduates, and practical machine learning engineers who want to work on cutting‑edge robotics AI. What you will work on Training and evaluating AI models Building tooling and infrastructure for ML workflows Implementing and improving existing methods Working with robotics datasets, simulation, and evaluation pipelines Supporting deployment of models onto robotic systems Collaborating closely with AI Research Engineers and Robotics / Systems Engineers Typical background Basic to intermediate PyTorch experience Interest in robotics, computer vision, or embodied AI Hands‑on mindset and willingness to learn quickly Ability to work in a fast‑moving startup environment Experience with Isaac Sim Experience with ROS2, simulation, or robotics Nice to have Open‑source contributions Experience with GPU training workflows Experience with multimodal AI systems Co‑Author of a research paper What we value Strong ownership mentality Pragmatic execution Curiosity and rapid learning Passion for Physical AI and robotics Location We currently prefer candidates within reasonable travel distance to our German robotics operations in Duesseldorf. #J-18808-Ljbffr NovaX Robotics GmbH
