Overview Registered Nurse – L&D, travel assignment in Dundee, KS. Start date 10/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,429–$2,557 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts. Setting: short-term acute care environment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,429–$2,557 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights (12-hour) Start date: 10/18/2026 Travel assignment in a short-term care setting Orientation provided; credentialing support available Responsibilities Provide direct obstetric nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and intervention during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate, interpret fetal monitoring, and administer prescribed medications and analgesia Support labor and delivery procedures, assist with cesarean or vaginal births, and provide newborn care and stabilization as needed Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, lactation consultants, and other members of the care team; document care and progress in the electronic health record Educate patients and families on care plans, postpartum recovery, red flags, and discharge instructions; coordinate discharge planning and follow-up as appropriate Will float to the medical-surgical unit as needed for overflow and may be asked to care for pediatric patients during assigned shifts Requirements Current RN license in Kansas AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications Fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) completed within the past 24 months; must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experienceEPIC experience highly preferred Willingness to float to MS and care for pediatric patients Ability to work nights; weekends and holidays in rotation Orientation: virtual orientation on Monday; credentials due one week prior to start Benefits and Support Dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the assignment Virtual orientation and credentialing assistance Bi-weekly pay schedule Ongoing account management and travel support Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
