A Physical Therapist Assistant supports physical therapists in providing care to patients recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions. This role involves implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a safe therapy environment to enhance patients’ physical abilities and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with rehabilitation exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses
- Provide patient education on exercises and safety
- Collaborate with physical therapists and healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Support patient care activities as directed by therapists
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in physical therapy assistance
