Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This position involves scrubbing and assisting in interventional radiology procedures, circulating and operating equipment, and providing necessary supplies within a Level 1 Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Certification and Education Requirements: BLS; ARRT-R or RCIS certification needed. Valid drivers license and insurance preferred.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with shift times from 0800 to 1830 or 0800 to 1630, on a cycle every 4-6 weeks.
• Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience specified; valid BLS certification; ARRT-R or RCIS certification; candidate must possess a license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens, GE, or Philips imaging systems and GE ultrasound units.
• Responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting in procedures, circulating, operating equipment, and supporting the department, which features Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems.
• Department is very collaborative and culture includes working with new graduates under preceptorship if needed.
• Call Requirements: 3-4 call days per month, with weekend call every 5th-6th weekend from Friday around 1630 to Monday at 0800.
• Orientation: Up to 2 weeks for facility and unit acclimation.
• Additional Information: Tech extenders currently assist with room turnover, paperwork, transport, and inventory, with 2 techs per room along with RNs, seven neuro providers, including neuro radiologists and neurosurgeons, and four advanced practice providers.
