Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionAt least 5 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of ProcessesAt least 5 years of experience in DB2 Skills Integrity, availability and performance of DB2 database systems by providing technical support and maintenanceMonitor database performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiencyCapacity planning, space management and data maintenance Database enhancement and modification as per the requirementsDatabase recovery and backup tasks Develop and maintain patches for database environmentsIdentify and recommend database techniques to support business needsAssist in implementation of new features and program fixes in databasesMaintain database security and disaster recovery proceduresTroubleshooting and maintenance of multiple databasesMonitor databases regularly Oversee utilization of data and log filesManage database logins and permissions for usersPutty and similar toolsBash / Ksh / Perl / Python scriptingExperience working on DB migration/upgradesPreferably worked with SAP Application systemsExperience with project managementExperience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel QualificationsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience in ITAdditional Information** U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
