Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to be a part of the multi-billion dollar Borough Based Jail Program located in the New York City area. The Structural Engineer will work under the direction of the Partners and Project Managers in engineering design, structural analysis, and construction administration for a new concrete building.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for a new reinforced concrete building project.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and reports using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
- During the construction phase, review submittals and RFI’s.
- Visit the construction site as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited engineering program.
- 0-5 years of experience in structural engineering plus at least one relevant summer internship.
- Experience working on structural concrete buildings.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
