We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist in the vibrant heart of Central Austin. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to accurate and high-quality imaging results, improving patient outcomes and enhancing their overall healthcare experience. We are considering new graduates for this role.

Compensation Includes:

$50-$65/hr

Possible relocation/sign on package

Available Shifts:

Day / Evening / Night

Weekend rotation varies

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans and procedures utilizing advanced MRI equipment.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast agents when necessary and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols and obtain accurate images.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of MRI equipment.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient information, procedures, and results.
• Educate patients on the MRI process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current certification as an MRI Technologist.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Texas.
• In-depth knowledge of MRI procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using MRI software and technology for image acquisition and manipulation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
