Outpatient Therapist
Palm Point Behavioral Health (affiliated with Universal Health Services) is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond.

Palm Point is looking for an Outpatient Therapist who performs clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their goals while enabling them to access, through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health. Provides variety of psychotherapeutic services including, family and individual (adults and children) in an outpatient psychiatric behavioral health center setting. Patient(s), with co-occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse disorders and other behavioral disorders. Schedule is Monday - Friday, varying hours.
Job requirements include a master's degree in counseling, social work, family therapy or related behavioral health discipline required. Must be licensed: LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, LMHC, or LMHCI. A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management. Experience with structured environments or high acuity populations (behavioral health, crisis intervention, or group facilitation settings) preferred.
