Your Day
br p strongCarpenter Helper and related jobs may require the following:/strong br ul liAssisting carpenters on job sites with various tasks and gathering materials. liCleaning job sites and servicing machines and equipment. liCutting, fitting and installing insulation, tile or linoleum. liSpreading adhesives on flooring to prep for tile. liBuilding scaffolding, shoring, and braces. liCutting or drilling holes in timber and lumber to specified dimensions. liHolding timbers, lumber, and paneling in place for fastening or cutting. liAssisting in the layout of foundation, building lines, and anchor bolts. liSetting hollow metal doors, frames and framing wood. liInstalling trim, cabinets and toilets. liLoading and unloading materials from trucks. liSmoothing and sanding surfaces using power sanders. liMeasuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials. liLoading job materials into installation trucks and securing loads. liProtecting floor
