Gastroenterology Physician

Assignment Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: Shared coverage 1 2 times/week

Clinical Responsibilities:

Average procedures per day
General GI Procedures: Upper Endoscopies (EGD), Colonoscopies
Advanced Procedures: ERCP (mid-level/moderate complexity), stent placement, Argon plasma coagulation, biopsies, colonoscopy with/without polypectomy, diagnostic/therapeutic EGD, enteral alimentation, esophageal dilation, foreign body removal, GI motility studies, 24-hour pH monitoring, non-variceal hemostasis, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)
Patient population: adult, often complex/noncompliant patients, may include family members in appointments

Facility & Practice Details:

Acute care hospital
EMR: Meditech
APP support provided

Travel & Malpractice Covered
