Quality Technician

Our client is a specialized medical device manufacturer in Branford, CT, producing high-precision cardiac gating monitors for diagnostic imaging systems (CT, PET, MRI). We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our production team and help maintain our standard for medical equipment. All candidates must have GD&T knowledge and experience with precision measuring equipment salary: $60,000 - $64,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections/tests on electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), subassemblies, and finished cardiac gating monitors. Record inspection findings, maintain Device History Records (DHR), and draft quality control reports in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials (NCMRs). Assist quality engineering and production teams in root‑cause investigations. Monitor, maintain, and verify calibration status for electronic measurement tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and specialized test equipment. Conduct routine quality audits across assembly operations to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Ensure all activities adhere to FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and internal Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
