If you're ready to elevate your practice, this is where your impact begins.Why You'll Love This RoleHigh-acuity ICU experience in a dynamic MSICU environment at Good Samaritan Hospital.Night shift opportunity for nurses who prefer overnight scheduling.Strong partnership with physicians and the care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.Opportunity to refine assessment, prioritization, and rapid response skills through complex patient populations.Support for ongoing growth through professional organization involvement and specialty certification encouragement.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform initial and ongoing patient/family assessments and document per unit/TriHealth guidelines.Develop and update individualized plans of care based on assessment findings, standards of care, and targeted outcomes.Deliver safe, therapeutic, and holistic nursing care while maintaining patient dignity, autonomy, and rights.Communicate clinical findings and care needs effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.Recognize emergency situations and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety and timely interventions.Complete patient assignments and documentation within expected timeframes using clinical data to guide interventions.Provide patient and family education, documenting response to care and teaching provided.Serve as a clinical resource by supporting education/training and contributing to unit learning and improvement.QualificationsMust-HaveAssociate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).New hires are required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.Minimum 2 years RN experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry.PreferredMembership in a related professional organization.Specialty certification.1+ year full-time (or 2+ years part-time) acute care experience.Schedule & LocationFTE: Full-Time - 36 Hours WeeklyShift: Days - 7:00am - 7:00pmLocation: Good Samaritan Hospital – Cincinnati, OH (On-site)Benefits SnapshotTriHealth offers a comprehensive benefits suite including medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, paid time off, tuition assistance, and wellness resources.
